The Allergy Center is a medical facility that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and counseling of allergies and conditions related to the immune system. This center focuses on caring for patients who have allergic reactions caused by various factors such as dust, pollen, food, medicine, or chemicals.
What is an allergy?
Allergies are conditions in which the body’s immune system responds to substances that are normally harmless. Allergic reactions (called antigens or allergens) by producing a type of antibody called IgE cause allergic reactions such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, difficulty breathing, or in rare cases, severe allergic reactions. (anaphylaxis)
