The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) Opens an EV Charging Station at Piyavate Hospital to Promote Clean Energy for a Sustainable Future
On February 3, 2025, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) launched an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station at the parking area of Piyavate Hospital. The charging points are located at two key spots: 1) the parking area of Tria Health and Beauty Institute and 2) the hospital’s main parking lot. The event was attended by Mr. Nopadol Damwan, Director of Business Services and Power Quality at MEA, and Dr. Wichit Attavechkul, CEO and Managing Director of Piyavate Hospital, who participated in a demonstration of the station’s functionality.
This EV charging station supports the MEA EV Application, offering a seamless experience for electric vehicle users. The app provides features such as locating charging stations, booking charging slots in advance, navigation assistance, and payment through MEA Wallet.
