About

“Cancer” is a disease resulting from the abnormal growth of cells in various organs of the body, which grow uncontrollably, forming abnormal masses that can spread to other parts of the body.

Currently, cancer is the leading cause of death in Thailand, with the incidence of cancer continuously increasing each year. The most common cancers in Thai men are liver and bile duct cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer, respectively. In women, the most common are breast cancer, cervical cancer, and liver and bile duct cancer. Early screening and diagnosis can potentially lead to complete recovery. Therefore, it is advisable to seek medical attention as soon as symptoms appear or if any abnormal cancer screening results are obtained.
