On the 17th of September 2025, The Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand organized and hosted the “Rediscovering Health and Wellness Tourism in Thailand 2025” event as their latest annual promotion of Thailand’s medical services to Kuwait. Piyavate Hospital CEO Dr. Witit Artavatkun was among the special delegates representing one of eight leading Thai private hospitals invited by the Thai Chargée d’Affaires to Kuwait, Ms. Uraiwan Courtaud.
Joined by a representative from the Ministry of Health and senior executives from various healthcare institutions of Kuwait, the event was a step towards “further strengthening bonds between Thailand and Kuwait”, Ms. Courtaud noted. Thailand has long been recognized by Kuwait as a global leader in medical treatment & tourism and a trusted destination for world-class healthcare & wellness services.
